The Story of De Roma
De Roma in Borgerhout, a charming old people's theater and cinema, is known as a vibrant center of culture and community. Each year, this iconic venue welcomes around 170,000 visitors and hosts over 400 diverse events, ranging from concerts and theater performances to circus shows, children's flea markets, and dance parties. The team, consisting of 22 permanent staff members and a large group of volunteers, works daily to bring this lively schedule to life. Despite this, De Roma faced a significant challenge: communication between their two locations was cumbersome and inefficient, making it seem as if they were two completely separate entities.
The Digital Challenges
The communication problem at De Roma was particularly noticeable due to the separate systems for internet and telephony at their different locations. On one side was the office, with separate partners for internet and telephony. On the other side was the auditorium of De Roma, which worked with different partners. This division led to a confusing and frustrating experience, where communication between the locations was difficult and time-consuming. It seemed as if the two parts of De Roma did not work well together, causing the daily operations to be inefficient and leading to problems with internal processes.
Our Solutions
To address this challenge, De Roma decided to partner with Dstny. The proposed solution ensured that both internet and telephony systems were seamlessly aligned, making communication between the locations smooth and efficient.
