Leadership is one of the many challenges that managers face today. How do they keep employees motivated from a distance? Daan De Wever, CEO of Dstny, explains his vision on leadership.

Countless books and publications have already been written about the concept of ‘ leadership ’. Each manager also has his or her own vision about this. But the theory and practice is always different. Especially when the world is hit by a crisis that paralyzes many industries. What good is a theory that you once read in a book? Managers today face a challenge that they will have little experience with. Yet they are still expected to pull their employees and lead the battle. How do you do that when most employees work from their own workplace, and you hardly meet each other physically? It was one of the many questions we had for Daan De Wever, co-founder and CEO of Dstny.

Dstny is a cloud telecom company located in Zaventem. The company burns with ambition and acts as a fast-growing player in the European Secure Cloud communications sector. Because of this expertise, tackling a crisis like this is, as it were, a matter of course. Dstny already had the technology in-house and can therefore quickly respond to the needs of companies that have to make the switch to teleworking, and could also make that switch itself hassle-free.
